The Recreation Committee’s Future is Now: The dock is a project that the GHCA community has built together. The GHCA budget is small after insurance, maintenance, and other expenses are paid. Thus, a vast majority of funds to build the dock were raised by private member donations.
Looking ahead: As the Recreation Committee looks ahead, our future projects tentatively include initiating water & electricity into the park area for maintenance purposes and enhancing landscaping in the park area for aesthetics and privacy/noise barrier purposes.
