This past Saturday, the Hill Association sponsored its Inaugural Rock Design Contest. The setting was perfect: the sun was out, the tide was low and parents were looking for something to keep their kids busy. The rock design pop-up event emerged quietly at first and then grew as kids and adults began to get creative.
Ultimately, three winning entries were happily awarded Brickley’s gift certificates. Winners were determined by lottery as each masterpiece was amazing in its own right.

Congratulations to Pierce and Cora for their “I ♥️ Green Hill” design, Julian and his grandma for their “Seaside Village” and Ethan and Connor for ”Seaweed the Turtle”.
We think all would agree that the event was successful and we suspect it might be in the lineup for 2024! Many thanks to Dawn McCabe and Maureen Morse for coordinating and hosting. Also thanks to Marcia Ryter for ensuring the ice cream truck was available for participants and observers alike.
